Mansfield & Green (AMETEK Sensors, Test & Calibration) is known for deadweight / piston gauges used as primary pressure standards in calibration labs. These instruments generate pressure from known masses and a characterized piston-cylinder, which is the reference many industrial labs use when TUR or uncertainty demands it.

When a deadweight is the right tool

• Primary standard work where a controller/module cal is not enough for TUR.
• High-accuracy gauge and transmitter calibration that needs a piston reference.
• Lab environments set up for mass sets, local gravity corrections, and fluid media.

Calibration support

ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration is available through Total Calibration Solutions for eligible instruments. Deadweight work is slower and priced differently than a typical digital gauge cal — tell us the UUT accuracy so we quote the correct method.
