Digital Pressure Modules
External pressure modules for compatible Crystal and Additel calibrators — expand range coverage without buying a second handheld.
What a pressure module does
A pressure module is a remote sensor that plugs into a documenting calibrator, indicator, or controller. Swap modules to cover vacuum through high pressure while keeping one documenting platform.
When to use modules
- Multi-range shops — one calibrator body, several sensor ranges.
- Intrinsically safe / special media modules when the job demands them (check each SKU).
- Bench automation — modules often pair with controllers and documenting workflows.
Brands on this site
- Additel — ADT161 intelligent digital pressure modules, ADT155 modules for ADT760/761 families, ADT158 digital pressure modules, and ADT151 modules for ADT7xx controllers.
- Crystal — APM/APMi CPF-series advanced pressure modules and ATMi temperature modules used with HPC and related Crystal platforms.
Confirm connector and firmware compatibility on the product page before ordering.

Which pressure module fits which calibrator
A pressure module only works with the host it was designed for. Match the module to your calibrator or controller first, then pick the range. Compatibility and accuracy below are from Additel, Crystal (AMETEK) and PIE specifications.
- Additel 773, 783 and 793 benchtop controllers: ADT151 modules. They are removable, the higher-pressure modules carry two calibrated ranges, and accuracies are 0.02% FS, 0.01% FS and 0.01% RD.
- Additel 760 / 760A / 760S and 761A automatic calibrators: ADT155 internal modules. Differential, compound and gauge ranges run from ±0.25 inH₂O to 1,000 psi, with accuracy to 0.01% FS. See the Additel 760.
- Additel 273Ex and 260Ex handhelds: ADT158 modules. They are field-switchable and intrinsically safe, with ranges to 60,000 psi (4,200 bar) and 0.02% FS accuracy (0.05% / 0.1% on selected ranges). See the 273Ex and 260Ex.
- Additel process calibrators and tablets: Additel 161 intelligent modules.
- Crystal HPC50 handheld: APMi modules. They are intrinsically safe and 0.035% of reading, with eight ranges from vacuum to 10,000 psi (700 bar). Two APMi modules plus the HPC50's installed sensors read four pressures at once. See the Crystal HPC40 / HPC50.
- Multifunction signal calibrators, or expanding a handheld pressure calibrator: Crystal APM CPF modules. They are 0.025% of reading, with seven ranges from vacuum to 15,000 psi (1,000 bar) and an integrated CPF female connection.
- Compatible PIE multifunction calibrators: PIE plug-in modules.
- GI gauge isolated: 15 to 3,000 psig.
- CI compound isolated: vacuum to positive pressure.
- AI absolute isolated.
- DI differential isolated: media compatible with 316L SS and Viton®.
- DN differential non-isolated: low inches-of-water differential on clean, dry gases.
- PM-50: Bluetooth wireless, ±0.035% of span, with optional cable connection and the PIE Pressure App.
Frequently asked questions
Which pressure modules are intrinsically safe?
The Additel ADT158 (for the 273Ex and 260Ex) and the Crystal APMi (for the HPC50).
Which modules work with Additel benchtop pressure controllers?
The Additel 773, 783 and 793 use removable ADT151 modules. Higher-pressure ADT151 modules carry two calibrated ranges.
What is the difference between PIE isolated and non-isolated modules?
PIE's DN differential non-isolated modules are for low inches-of-water differential measurement on clean, dry gases. The DI differential isolated modules are for media compatible with 316L stainless steel and Viton®.
Can I read pressure wirelessly?
Yes. The PIE PM-50 is a Bluetooth wireless pressure module (±0.035% of span) that works with the PIE Pressure App, with an optional cable connection to PIE calibrators.
Which pressure module reaches the highest pressure?
The Additel ADT158 offers ranges to 60,000 psi (4,200 bar). The Crystal APM CPF reaches 15,000 psi (1,000 bar).
Calibration
Modules are measuring instruments and can usually ship with ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration. Ask for module-level certificates when your quality system requires them.
