What a pressure controller does

A pressure controller automatically regulates pressure to a setpoint so you can calibrate gauges, transmitters, and switches without manually pumping and venting to each point. That improves speed and repeatability versus hand generation alone.

Where controllers fit

• **Shop / lab benches** — high volume of UUTs, tight setpoints, documenting workflows.
• **Portable automated calibrators** — field or satellite shops that still want automated control.
• **Complement to pumps and gauges** — controllers often sit between a supply (N2, shop air, or hydraulic) and the device under test.
