Temperature Calibrators
Dry-block, bath, and furnace temperature calibrators for industrial sensors and transmitters — JOFRA, Additel, and related lines, with ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration available on most instruments.
What a temperature calibrator does
A temperature calibrator creates a stable temperature environment so you can compare a thermometer, RTD, thermocouple, or transmitter against a known reference. Dry-wells (dry-blocks) are common in the field; baths and furnaces cover wider or higher ranges.
Dry-well, bath, and furnace
- **Dry-block / dry-well** — portable or benchtop inserts for sensors; fast and clean for many industrial jobs.
- **Liquid baths** — better uniformity for some lab comparisons (when available in-line).
- **Furnaces / high-temp blocks** — thermocouple and high-temperature work (e.g. Additel furnace platforms).
Choosing a calibrator
- **Range and stability** — cover the UUT with margin; watch axial gradients on inserts.
- **Insert / well diameter** — must fit your probes without excessive air gap.
- **Reference probe inputs** — when you use an external SPRT/RTD reference.
- **Documenting / automation** — useful for multi-point procedures and paperless as-found/as-left.

Calibration
Most temperature calibrators here can ship with **ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration**. Specify range, points, and whether you need the reference probe on the same certificate.
